This prelicensure program is designed for individuals who have completed 62 credits in liberal arts and support sciences course work (see Program Prerequisites below). The program consists of 63 credits of discipline-specific courses, and a full-time course sequence will take two calendar years to complete. Graduates from this program are eligible to take the NCLEX-RN, although successful completion of the program does not automatically guarantee eligibility to take the licensure examination. The BSN Upper Division program prepares graduates to provide direct care in a variety of health care settings to diverse patients and their families, as well as to pursue higher degrees in nursing.
