Although this plan will work for transfer to most nursing programs, Arcadia offers
a 2+2 nursing program in affiliation with the Jefferson College of Health Professions
at Thomas Jefferson University. The affiliation program involves two years on
Arcadia's campus completing initial coursework followed by two years at Thomas
Jefferson University. After the four-year program, students are awarded an R.N.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.) degree from Thomas Jefferson University.
Other programs offered in conjunction with Thomas Jefferson University include
Biotechnology, Cytotechnology, Medical Technology, Occupational Therapy (BSMS)
and Radiologic Sciences.
Students planning to transfer into a two-year, upper-division undergraduate
program for a Bachelor of Science in Nursing should complete a typical course
of study, a minimum of 60 hours, as shown below. Students who plan to enter
the nursing field with a Bachelor's degree from Arcadia University should complete
