Students in the psychology program can pursue a concentration in biological psychology, the relationship between behavior and its biological foundation; counseling/clinical, the skills needed to build effective helping relationships with clients; cognitive science, the powers and limitations of human intelligent activity; or industrial/organizational, the application of the principles of psychology to human problems in the workplace.
Students learn the facts and theories of psychology, as well as contribute to the field through participation in professional activities, both in research and in the application of psychological findings to promote human welfare in the community.
