As a major in recreational leadership at Alderson-Broaddus College, you will learn the particular recreational needs of segments of the population such as the poor, the elderly, the physically or emotion-ally disabled, as well as the recreational needs of society in general. Because recreational leaders must be creative in their own field, you will be encouraged in your course work and through campus organizations to accept responsibilities, to experiment, and to develop initiative.
