From a broad perspective, sociologists study human social behavior in groups revealing the endless ways that social forces affect us in our daily lives while examining the causes and consequences of those social forces. The Columbus sate University Bachelor of Science in Sociology Program offers a comprehensive curriculum designed to educate students about a broad range of topics in the study of sociology; topics which include racial and ethnic groups, social class, families, religion, organizations, social attitudes and beliefs, crime, deviance, and gender.
