Overview
Creating and maintaining a safe work environment and protecting workers from hazards has become a critical issue in nearly every industry. The Occupational Safety Health Specialty was developed to prepare students for supervisory or management positions relating to occupational safety health in environmental compliance, ergonomics, industrial hygiene and toxicology, construction, fire protection, and systems design.
This program is geared toward students who are seeking new opportunities in the public or private sector such as service or manufacturing industries, local, state, or federal agencies, and the military.
