Students may pursue study in set design, costume design, lighting design, and technical design. The flexibility built into the degree requirements allows the student and their advisors to develop individualized programs of study, taking advantage of the variety of offerings in the School of the Arts. As a part of their curriculum Emerson undergraduates undertake the design and production work for an active and varied Emerson Stage production season, as well as developing an in-depth portfolio coinciding with annual reviews and culminating in a senior-year jury with theatre professionals.
