The College of Charleston is a state supported comprehensive institution providing a high quality education in the arts and sciences, education and business. The Urban Policy Social Problems track is one of the two options for an Urban Studies major. In this track, students will learn about historical and contemporary urban social issues. The Urban Studies Department is distinct in that students are encouraged to develop their own unique course plan. Students take courses from a variety of departments; from political science to biology!
