A major in accounting comprises of 12 credits of required course. However, the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) requirements in the overwhelming majority of states, including Virginia, require 150 credits (undergraduate and/or graduate credit) with varying requirements across the states for particular coursework. Students should base their coursework on whether or not they plan to pursue graduate studies. |
