The theatre arts teaching major is designed for students wishing to teach theatre studies at the high-school level. Theatre course requirements are identical to those of the theatre studies major. However, students pursuing a teaching major must also meet additional requirements within the School of Education.
The Visual Arts Education (K-12) major includes courses in studio, art history and theory, art education, junior portfolio review, senior portfolio thesis, and student teaching.
Students must have been admitted into the Teacher Education Program and must be currently satisfying admission standards before being allowed to enroll in either Education 4322 or 4323.
