The Business Education program for this degree includes business as well as professional courses necessary to meet Florida teacher certification requirements. This program is primarily designed to develop business education teachers for Florida middle, junior, and senior high schools. Also, this program develops teachers with the necessary skills and knowledge to pursue a career in business and industry.

Admission to the Program
Students are admitted into the program after they have satisfied all General
Education requirements (See School of General Studies), have passed all sub-tests
of the CLAST examination, and have a 2.5 GPA or better. Prospective majors must
apply for admission to the program at the School of Education.
