Bachelor degrees in Kindergarten + Preschool Education and Teaching: A program that prepares individuals to teach students in formal settings prior to beginning regular elementary school, usually ranging in age from three to six years (or grade one), depending on the school system or state regulations. Includes preparation to teach all relevant subject matter.
Students preparing to teach music, art, or physical education across K-12 must complete an undergraduate degree in one of those fields with coursework and field experience in educational practices, content area literacy, and content methods.
Communication majors take 21 hours of core communication courses, with additional hours in one of three communication concentrations. The communication core includes COM 101, 111, 211, 301, 315, 332 and 403.
