Bachelor degrees in Latin Language and Literature: A program that focuses on the Latin language and literature from its origins through its decline and its current ecclesiastical usage, as a secular and/or theological subject. Includes instruction in Latin philology, related Italic dialects, Late Roman and Medieval Latin, and modern Church Latin.

A concentration in Latin requires a minimum of ten courses. The

-CAS CL 102 or CL 322
-eight courses from the offerings under Latin above CAS CL 117
-one additional Classical Studies course, at the 400 level or higher, in either a classical language or a topic in classical civilization or history
