Bachelor degrees in Social Studies Teacher Education: A program that prepares individuals to teach general social studies programs at various educational levels.
Students who wish to teach in the secondary schools complete coursework required by the State of Pennsylvania. These students select a content area for certification from Social Studies.
Students are admitted into the Education Department and are fully accepted when
the following criteria have been met:
* - Successful completion of 48 credit hours
* - Six (6) semester credit hours (or the equivalent) in college level Mathematics
