Bachelor degrees in Theatre + Theatre Arts Management: A program that prepares individuals to apply business management principles to the management of theatres and production corporations. Includes instruction in theatrical production, theatre design and planning, fund-raising and promotion, investment strategies, human resources management, theatre operations management, marketing, public relations, financial management and insurance, and applicable laws and regulations.
The B.A. degree program is for students who want a core theatre curriculum within a self-selected interdisciplinary theatre education. Students may incorporate one or two minors, or a second major in another field while specializing in theatre.

The Performing Arts Department, in conjunction with the Business Administration Department, offers an interdisciplinary degree theatre management. The curriculum for the Bachelor Arts theatre management combines courses from the business and theatre curricula.

The program constitutes a pre-professional degree for students whose interests and abilities strongly suggest the potential for pursuing careers in the theatre professions. A minor is permitted but not required. Admission to and continuation in the B.F.A. program is based on selective procedures and standards, culminating during the sophomore evaluation in the spring of the sophomore year, or spring of the first year for transfer students.
The department offers a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) with Theatre Studies emphasis option.
