Daytona Beach Community College, a comprehensive public college, provides access to a range of flexible programs from community enrichment to the baccalaureate degree, emphasizing student success, embracing excellence and diversity, as well as fostering innovation to enhance teaching and learning.
 
About this School
Daytona Beach Community College is a two year college located in Daytona Beach, Florida in the United States. Known for its photography and nursing programs, the school aims to offer a four year bachelor degree in the near future. DBCC is the current home of the renowned Southeast Museum of Photography and the college is also involved in a joint-partnership program with Volusia County and Flagler County school districts known as the Advanced Technology Center. The Advanced Technology Center provides high school students in their junior and senior years the ability to dual-enroll and receive college credits. The main areas of studies are Computer Technology, Construction, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Automotive Services. Recently, the college has expanded its course load and earning accreditation to offer Bachelor of Applied Science degrees. Creating the formally "two year" school and making it a "four year" school. DBCC has a NJCAA program with Softball, Baseball, Women's Golf, Men's Basketball, Women's Basketball teams. Women's golf are currently defending three time NJCAA National Champions. (As of 4/28/2006). Three of the five athletic teams earned a cumulative GPA of at least 3.1.
