This is a program for graduate students who have already completed their Master of Science degree and would like to continue their educational goal of a Ph.D. in one of our five principal areas of research: acoustics and vibrations; dynamics, control, and robotics; fluid mechanics; MEMS; and nanotechnolgy. This program has no structured course stipulations but has a 32-credit requirement. Of that, a minimum of 8 credits of research/dissertation is required. The student’s faculty advisor must approve all coursework and research.
