The Doctor of Science Degree Audiology prepares professionals for leadership positions in research including academic, industry or medical settings. Students who have obtained clinical audiology degrees (M.S. or AuD) but who are now interested in advanced research training are eligible for this program.
The doctoral program in audiology prepares professionals for academic, medical, and industry leadership positions in the field. Students with outstanding scholarly promise who have completed their clinical training and who seek advanced work in hearing science, psychoacoustics, speech perception and research methodologies are appropriate for the degree. The resources of Boston University and the surrounding area are vast.
