Graduate students in the Department of Biological Engineering can carry out their research as part of a number of multi-investigator, multidisciplinary research centers at MIT, including the Center for Biomedical Engineering, the Biotechnology Process Engineering Center, the Center for Environmental Health Sciences, and the Division of Comparative Medicine. Bioengineering Track
