The Psy.D. program emphasizes the theory and application of clinical psychology, which distinguishes this program from research Ph.D. psychology programs at other universities. Antioch is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. Antioch's Art Therapy programs are approved by the American Art Therapy Association (AATA). Concentrations are year-long training modules that combine doctoral-level theory and integration of that theory while seeing clients in Antioch's Community Counseling and Psychology Clinic. The concentrations that will be offered in the 2008-2009 academic year include:
* Adult psychotherapy
Core and elective courses based on your areas of interest round out your Psy.D. program. Plus, the clinical focus gives you an opportunity to choose an applications-oriented doctoral paper.
