The Doctor of Ministry (DMin) program at Austin Seminary combines hands-on, practical
ministry with a well-designed plan for intellectual, spiritual, and professional
growth. The flexible curriculum, based on your vocational goals and ministry setting,
allows you to mature in your ministry.
The Doctor of Ministry program at Austin Seminary helps students cultivate
theological understanding of particular acts of ministry, manifest a high level
of competence in the practice of ministry, acquire new skills, and develop new
resources for the practice of ministry.
Proclamation Worship
Here students sharpen their skills in preaching and designing worship, exploring
issues of biblical interpretation, different models of preaching, and the history
of prayer and liturgy. The two concentrations are Preaching and Worship.
