The Department of Molecular Physiology and Biophysics at Baylor College of Medicine offers a research-oriented program of graduate study leading to the Ph.D. The graduate program applies modern methods of molecular and cell biology, genetics, neuroscience, imaging, electrophysiology, biophysics, immunology, protein biochemistry, and pharmacology to the study of problems of physiological importance. Training is offered that will prepare students for either academic or corporate biotechnology careers.
