The Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior offers an exciting and challenging doctoral program for a special group of promising applicants. The program has long been internationally recognized as a pioneer in the field of Organizational Behavior, awarding the first Ph.D. of its kind in 1964. Across almost a half century, the program has graduated close to 300 Ph.D. students and has prepared them academically and professionally to shape the future of the field through original research, scholarly writing and teaching as well as through professional leadership in the "scholarship of practice."
Graduates of the Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior have taken positions at the London School of Business, Columbia, Stanford, World Bank, the White House, Yale University, UCLA, Northwestern University, Indian Institute of Management and other academic institutions, as well as leading think tanks, research oriented NGOs, and private sector enterprises where Ph.D. level preparation is needed. Whether our graduates go into academia or into professional practice positions at places such as the World Bank or Center for Creative Leadership, there is one common denominator for those choosing the pathway of the doctorate: it's all about people who share a passion for generating new knowledge of consequence through scholarly inquiry, writing and research, and deeply reflective practice.
