Please note: The curriculum provides academic training in accordance with certification requirements as set forth by the Association of Applied Sports Psychology (AASP). While completing the Doctor of Psychology, Sports Performance Psychology Specialization may prepare students to enter the AASP certification process, there is no guarantee of such certification as a result of earning this degree. Candidates for certification are urged to contact the AASP directly, and to remain aware of changes in certification requirements by the AASP.
Degree Completion Requirements:
To fulfill the requirements for the Doctor of Psychology, Sports Performance Specialization, you must successfully complete the following:
Program coursework of 62-68 credits
A minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0
180 hours of practicum
Defense of the dissertation
Submission of Petition to Graduate form and applicable fees
