While completing the Doctor of Psychology, Sports Performance Psychology Specialization may prepare students to enter the AASP certification process, there is no guarantee of such certification as a result of earning this degree. Candidates for certification are urged to contact the AASP directly, and to remain aware of changes in certification requirements by the AASP.
Degree Completion Requirements:
To fulfill the requirements for the Doctor of Psychology, Sports Performance Specialization, you must successfully complete the following:
Program coursework of 62-68 credits
A minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0
180 hours of practicum
Defense of the dissertation
Submission of Petition to Graduate form and applicable fees
