The Ph.D. degree prepares students for research, writing, and teaching on the college, university, and seminary levels and for leadership in educational ministry. The course of study deals with the foundations, history and theories of Christian education, the principles and dynamics of faith, evangelization and moral development as well as current approaches and issues in catechesis/religious education.
