Baylor University offers both Ph.D. degree geology. To be qualified for admission to graduate study the student must have completed a bachelor's degree geology or related discipline with an overall grade-point average of 2.7 and 3.0 in the major. The GRE test is required. The Ph.D. degree requires a minimum of 60 hours beyond the bachelor's degree.
