The six-year integrated Oral Maxillofacial Surgery/MD Program includes the awarding of a medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, a two-year certificate of General Surgery and a certificate Oral Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS).
Accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation*, the dual-degree track has been carefully designed to provide a comprehensive approach to both the medical school and residency components of the program. Candidates who complete the program are eligible for examination by the American Board of Oral Maxillofacial Surgery.
