About this School
Kentucky Christian University (KCU) is a Christian liberal arts college located in Grayson, Kentucky. It was founded on December 1, 1919, as Christian Normal Institute, by J. W. Lusby and J. O. Snodgrass. It initially included programs for high schools, junior college, and public school teachers, but during the early 1920s its emphasis shifted to educating young people for Christian ministries. Christian Normal Institute changed its name to Kentucky Christian College (KCC) in 1944, and changed its name again to Kentucky Christian University in September, 2004.
