Kentucky Mountain Bible College is a Bible-centered undergraduate higher educational institution whose mission is to equip God-called men and women with - a passiion to Know God - a passiion to prepare for Missions - a passion to live and teach the message of Biblical holiness - and a passiion to evangelize and disciple the world for Christ.
 
About this School
Kentucky Mountain Bible College (located near Jackson, KY in Breathitt County) was established in 1931 by Dr. Lela G. McConnell and Rev. Martha Archer in order to train young people from the Appalachian foothills of Eastern Kentucky in the areas of ministry and missions. Kentucky Mountain Bible Institute initially offered a two year Bible course, later expanding to a three year program in 1938. In 1989 Candidate Status was granted for institutional accreditation with the Accrediting Association of Bible Colleges (now Association for Biblical Higher Education). With this KMBC began offering a four-year B.A. Degree in Religion along with a two-year A.A. Degree in Bible/Biblical Studies. In 1994, KMBC was granted membership with AABC (ABHE). KMBC now has over 1000 graduates scattered around the world serving in various aspects of Christian ministry. The mission of KMBC is to equip God-called men and women with:
