This program is designed for students that have completed the Basic Welding Certificate or students that can demonstrate basic welding skills. The Advanced Welding Certificate courses cover welding sybols, common weld metal discontinuities,AWS and ASME welder performance qualification requirements and destructive and non-destructive testing methods. Welding proficiency of SMAW, FCAW of full penetration welds on mild steel and GTAW and GMAW of fillet and full penetration welds on aluminum will be accomplished.
