Program Purpose: Graduates will demonstrate basic knowledge in agricultural
technology that will prepare them to obtain an entry-level position within the
field.
Program Description: Over the past several years, the need for well-trained
entry-level agricultural technicians has greatly increased. To meet this need,
this program is offered for those wishing to pursue this occupation which, upon
completion, will enable the student to become employable. The course work contained
in the certificate may be applied to the A.A.S. degree in Agricultural Business
Management. A grade of C or higher must be earned for each course
in the program.
