Less-than-1-year Certificate in Air Conditioning And Refrigeration at Arizona Western College

Program Purpose: Graduates will demonstrate basic
knowledge in air conditioning and refrigeration that will
prepare them to obtain an entry-level position within the
field.

Program Description: Provides the student with the
essential skills required of an entry-level employee in
the air conditioning and refrigeration industry. Training
in various aspects of air conditioning and refrigeration
include trouble-shooting, maintenance, repair and servicing
of A/C units, related electrical controlling devices,
motors, and safety factors concerning the use of various
refrigerants. A grade of “C” or higher must be earned for
each course in the program.
