Students will learn advanced internetworking concepts. Topics will include multi-layer switching, fault tolerance, remote access, controlling overhead, advanced routed protocols, WAN troubleshooting. Upon completion students should be able to work in an advanced internet working environment. Students will also gain knowledge necessary for the CCNP certification exam.Applicants must have earned a high school diploma or GED and currently be certified as a CCNA or have the permission of the department chairperson. Satisfactory score on a placement exam may also be required.
