The Fire Officer I certification program is designed to train current
or potential fire officers in the areas of advanced fire fighting techniques, hazardous materials at the operations level, the implementation and delivery of lesson plans for training, HR management, administration, community
relations, inspection and investigation, safety, and incident command. The course meets the current NFPA standards and will help prepare the student for Fire Officer I certification through the Colorado Division of Fire Safety.
