The Electrical Technology department offers a one-year vocational certificate option. The one-year program is two semesters in length and prepares graduates to become employed in residential, commercial, and industrial electricity settings. Graduates of the program will possess the knowledge and skills necessary to plan, install, maintain, and troubleshoot various electrical systems. Students will study such topics as blueprint reading, residential/commercial industrial wiring, job cost estimation, electrical power, and programmable logic controllers.
