other healthcare professionals and transcribe into medical reports, correspondence,
and other administrative material. Medical terminology and good grammar skills
are a must. Medical Transcriptionists may have other duties much like those of
medical office assistants, and some of their responsibilities include:
* Transcribes medical dictation from doctors to be placed in the permanent
medical file of a patient
* Translates medical language and abbreviations into their expanded forms
* Creates correspondence documents using word processing with medical terminology
