Students will learn concepts related to administration of open source operating systems. Red Hat™ Linux will be used in this program. Topics will include hardware management, system configuration, client configuration, scripting, Gnome, KDE, server-side setup, and security administration. Upon completion students should be able to setup and administer a server and client machine utilizing an open source operating system.
