Web Design & Development is a one year, half-day class for adults and high school students. Upon completing this course, the student should be able to use basic HTML, Dreamweaver, and Office SharePoint Designer features to create, design, publish, and maintain a Web site. The student will be introduced to advanced imaging techniques in order to enhance and/or animate Web pages using Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, and Flash. Course objectives are the following:
Working with Webs Web pages
Formatting Web pages
Creating and adding graphics
Creating hyperlinks
Creating multiple URL's with frames
Automating tasks using HTML, Office SharePoint Designer, & Dreamweaver
Exporting Web sites
Managing and maintaining Web sites
Opportunities
Operate your own small business in Web page design and maintenance, or work in the field of E-Commerce.
