Automotive Services/Small Engine Repair is designed for special needs students who are interested in working on vehicles and small engines. Students learn in the classroom and hands-on about basic automotive and small engine maintenance and repair, general service station duties, and exhaust and engine systems. They work on donated and student vehicles and engines and build key skills such as teamwork, communication and customer service.
The Small Engine and Equipment Repair program provides the opportunity for acquiring entry-level skills in the service and repair of a wide variety of small engines as well as a working knowledge of the repair and adjustment of related equipment, and basic skills in sharpening a variety of household and industrial cutting tools and blades.
