This degree is designed for the professional who is, or will be, working with an aging population, or for an organization that serves older adults. Whether your career is directly related to aging – such as Manager of a Senior Center, or Activities Director at a care facility – or your client base is mostly older adults – such as Financial Planners, Occupational Therapists, or Interior Designers for adult communities – this degree will meet your needs! Of the six elective courses required in the program, up to three of them can be taken in a completely different academic area – perhaps Marketing, or Social Work, or Recreation and Tourism.
