Program Introduction
The V. P. Black College of Biblical Studies serves the students of Faulkner University as a whole (each full-time student takes a course in the College of Biblical Studies each semester), but it also provides specific preparation for preachers and teachers, elders and deacons, missionaries, youth ministers and other church workers. The Master of Arts in Biblical Studies is the capstone of Faulkner University’s efforts to effectively prepare students to discover and to communicate to others the knowledge of God’s Word.
With a strong Biblical core and a variety of major tracks, the Master of Arts in Biblical Studies provides both sound preparation for more effective service in the church and a broad base for further training if the student wishes to specialize in more advanced graduate study.
