The Department of Clinical and Laboratory Sciences offers a graduate program
leading to the Master of Science in Clinical Laboratory Sciences(MSCLS). Our
MSCLS degree is a professional degree designed to meet the needs of the Clinical
Laboratory Scientist (CLS) in an increasingly complex healthcare environment.
With the amount of, and demand for, laboratory testing increasing each year,
a significant need exists for CLS professionals, but particularly for individuals
with advanced technical knowledge, management skills, and leadership abilities.
In response to the diversity of career skills required by the clinical laboratory
