This objective of this sequence is for the student to understand, analyze the effects of, and engage in information warfare/operations as it relates to computer-based operations and systems. Specific attention is placed on engineering for information protection: designing security and survivability into information systems from the start. A broad systemsoriented perspective is maintained, emphasizing the interdependencies of USAF, DoD, and national information information-based systems.
