This sequence provides the techniques and theory of modern numerical methods for solving problems of interpolation, simultaneous linear and non-linear equations,eigenvalue problems, and ordinary and partial differential equations. Finite element and finite difference techniques are treated. Error estimates and applications are considered.These courses may not be used to satisfy the Mathematics requirement.
