The Division of Earth and Ocean Sciences offers research opportunities in the areas of aquatic geochemistry, biological oceanography, carbonate diagenesis, clastic and carbonate facies analysis, continental margin and deep-sea sedimentation, desert studies, economic geology, energy resources, geomorphology, hydrogeology, igneous petrology and geochemistry focusing on layered intrusions and mid-ocean ridge basalt, isotope geochemistry, marine coastal geology, marine micropaleontology, paleoceanography, paleolimnology, paleoclimatology, physical oceanography, sediment processes and dynamics.
