The Master’s in Educational Administration and Supervision with specialization for the Principalship is designed to lead towards the Arizona Principal Certificate Prekindergarten-12 (see Requirements for Principal, PreKindergarten - 12 Certificate). The Principalship specialization is based on the Interstate School Leaders Licensure Consortium (ISLLC) Standards. Students completing the program (including the internship) and providing evidence of three years of K-12 teaching experience may obtain an Institutional Recommendation (IR) to expedite their certification as principals.
