The purpose of the M. Ed. degree Elementary Education is to prepare quality teachers who can teach at all levels of the elementary school. The program consists of 10 required courses, each of which earns 3 credit hours. The courses are balanced so that the person receiving the degree has a sound knowledge of the pedagogy needed to become a quality elementary teacher.
