The Master of Forest Resources (MFR) is a professional forestry degree designed to broaden forestry skills and enhance understanding of natural resource issues. The degree requires 36 hours of graduate work. Seminars and a research project count for up to six of those hours. Students with an undergraduate degree in forestry can complete the program in 12-15 months.
Specialization within the degree is expected and a forest resource management/economics emphasis provides sufficient course options for rapid completion of the degree.
