The Program in Infection and Pathobiology brings together Cornell scientists studying the interplay between host and pathogen/toxin in a multidepartmental program. Faculty from the College of Veterinary Medicine and from various departments in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences are members of this program. Numerous Graduate Fields also participate. Thus, the program facilitates broad interactions between departments and graduate fields that share common interests in host-pathogen interactions and generates a graduate student and post-doctoral trainee community through common seminars and retreats that cross the boundaries between fields and departments.
