Students who are candidates for the B.S. in engineering may apply to the Integrated B.S./M.S. Program. The program enables students to begin study towards the M.S. degree prior to completion of the B.S. degree, and allows 9 hours of credit to be counted towards both the B.S. and M.S. degrees. Students pursuing the program in chemical engineering generally take ECHE 460 Chemical Engineering Thermodynamics, ECHE 461 Transport Phenomena, and ECHE 651 Master Thesis as part of the Advanced Study Sequence. These courses will count both for the B.S. and M.S. degrees. Students must apply for and be accepted into the B.S./M.S. program before completing the last two semesters of their B.S. degree. Students interested in the program should contact the department B.S./M.S. program advisor (Professor Edwards).
